St. Cloud Travel Guide
Welcome to St. Cloud, MN!
This WorldWeb.com travel and tourism guide for St. Cloud, featuring hotels and other accommodations, maps, events, shopping, restaurants & bars, tours, attractions and more, will help you plan a successful visit to St. Cloud, Minnesota, USA.
Situated just northwest of the metro Twin Cities area, the city of St. Cloud is naturally separated into east and west by the lively Mississippi River, whose banks provide many of the city's snapshot and recreational opportunities. Often referred to as Granite Country, this St. Cloud commodity has been used in some of the country's finest buildings and is just one of the topics explored at the Stearns History Museum. A swarm of visitors pack the Munsinger Gardens and Clemens Gardens each summer, attracted by the thousands of flowers and bushes that make up the more than six distinct gardens contained within. Despite its smaller population (under 60,000 people), St. Cloud boasts three post-secondary institutions, which are responsible, in part, to the city's fairly liberal and cultural atmosphere.
